Calendar Updates and Reminder - No School Wednesday 9/23

Dear District 194 Families and Staff,

We want to share an important update to our 2026–2027 school calendar. Due to the two school days missed as a result of the severe storms and power outages at the beginning of the school year, District 194 will make up those days on Tuesday, November 3 (Election Day) and Friday, May 28, which was previously scheduled as an emergency day.

As a result, Friday, May 28, will now be the last day of school for students. We appreciate the continued flexibility and understanding of our families and staff as we make these necessary calendar adjustments.

Also as a reminder, this Wednesday, September 23rd is a Teacher Institute Day, and there will be no school for students. Classes will resume on the Thursday.
