Parents of students in Steger School District 194 can register their child/ren and pay fees on three registration dates. Registration for Columbia Central, Eastview, Parkview, and Saukview will be held at Columbia Central from 2:00pm- 7:00pm on the following days:
Please use the Activity Entrance, which is on the east side of the school. The first and last hours are always the busiest. The fees, which are $85 per student, can be paid by cash, check, money order, or Visa/Mastercard. Fees will increase to $100 per student after August 12. .

Proving Residency
School District 194 requires that all students attending District 194 schools be residents of the District. A student must be living with a parent or approved guardian who is a resident of the District.
Proof of residency is required. Residents who own, rent, or contribute to residence must provide one document from category A and two documents from category B (below). Documents must show the name and address of the child’s parent or guardian. If a family is living with a district resident, the resident must be present at registration to fill out forms and prove residency. The resident must provide one document from category A and two documents from category B (below).
The district may require a home visit and/or additional documentation to verify residency. Warning: Registration of a non-resident is a fraudulent act. Any student found to have been fraudulently registered will be dropped immediately from the district rolls, and the parent/guardian will be charged 110% of the per capita tuition for the 2010-2011 school year for the time the child attended. Any resident who knowingly enrolls or attempts to enroll a child in District 194 shall be subject to prosecution.
New Enrollees
A certified, original copy of the child’s birth certificate must be provided at registration along with required health records and transfer forms.

Fee Waivers
Families may be eligible to have Registration fees waived if they meet income requirements. Documentation is required. Bring a copy of your 2009 income tax return. If this is not available, other acceptable forms of documentation include the two most recent pay stubs for the members of the household or formal letters that state the amount of financial assistance a household receives. Medicaid cards cannot be used. Additional documentation may be required if a tax return is not available. Fees may not be waived for gym suits at Columbia Central.
